I will stamp all over 'credible fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.

Former two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I will break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

However, the novice is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, regularly earning massive earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters met for the customary face-off, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly happening.
